National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE) Practice Exam

In NSPIRE, what counts as the inspected property is basically the land and improvements within the property's boundary that the owner or management is responsible for. Public streets aren’t automatically part of that scope; they’re included only when the road is part of the property itself—essentially adjacent to or within the property boundary and under the property’s control. If a street is a public right of way outside the property boundary, it isn’t inspected as part of the property. So roads are included only if they are adjacent to or within the property boundary.
